Young Foresight is a national project targeted at year 9 pupils.  It is linked to key stage 3 strategy for design technology and it aims to help teachers deliver lessons in an innovative way using business mentors to strengthen the classroom based activities.

Young Foresight is designed to give students an insight into the development of successful future products or services. Through the programme, students will:

• improve their design skills

• become more creative

• understand new technologies

• develop communication skills

• learn to work with one another

• link with an business mentor 

Teacher Support - Training is provided for teachers to equip them with knowledge and learning materials to implement a successful Young Foresight programme.  Assistance is also given to help establish and maintain links with business mentors.
