270 year 8 students from Harton Technology College worked alongside business mentors to produce 'Sky High' designs during their school activities week.

The students spent a whole day developing their enterprise skills by taking part in a series of team challenges as part of the Future Focus program organised by RTC North.

The final challenge was to design and make a Skyscraper hotel using only plastic cups, paper plates, straws and flip chart paper.  The students were very resourceful and came up with some gigantic designs - some towering over 2 metres!

Chris Braybrook, Deputy Head Teacher said "As a school community, we welcome all links with local industry, partner organisations and individual people who are happy to work with our students.  These links are crucial to student personal development and offer pupils an opportunity to get involved in a project that stretches them mentally, physically or in an entrepreneurial manner."
