Year 9 pupils from Wolsingham School and Community College used future's thinking to launch their week long project that looked at airports of the future.
The youngsters toured Newcastle Airport as part of their fact finding mission, before devising their own plans for the next generation of passengers. Wolsingham arranged the airport trip with the help of RTC North after being involved in the Futures Challenge competition earlier in the year.
Design Technology Head, Geoff Price said, "using Foresight was a great way of giving this school project a new, innovative focus and also helped to embed futures thinking into many subject areas, including food, textiles, business studies, English, graphics and systems."
